This course is a preparatory course that focuses on building a solid foundation and proficiency in English
Language and Mathematics based on Singapore’s Ministry of Education’s Primary 5 Syllabus to prepare student planning to start Primary 5 in a Singapore Government Primary School or equivalent.

KGI have 6 intakes every year.

Please note that prospective students are advised to submit their application at least 6 weeks before the start date.

Mathematics, English (written): 100%
External Examination
AEIS – Admissions Exercise for International Students (September / October)
S-AEIS – Supplementary Admissions Exercise for International Students (February/ March)

Admission Requirements

Age: 10 to 11+ years old as of 1 January in the year of admission to a Singapore
Government Primary School
Language: At least a pass at Primary 4 English or equivalent
Academic: At least a pass at Primary 4 or equivalent

Critieria for Graduation

1) Minimum Attendance:

Foreign Student – At least 90% attendance (absence with valid reasons)
Local Student – At least 75% attendance (absence with valid reasons)

Average Teacher - Student Ratio

1:21 (maximum)
