Code of Conduct

All students are to take note of the following:

1. Students must inform KGI immediately of any changes in email, address, and telephone number at both local and home country.
2. If a student is unable to attend any class due to medical illness, a Medical Certificate (MC) from the doctor is required to show proof of absence. The student must inform KGI immediately of the medical leave and submit the original MC to KGI as soon as the student resumes class.
3. Students who intend to take leave of absence must submit the duly completed Student Leave form to KGI and obtain formal approval from KGI before making any travel arrangements. Students are to make a photocopy of the travel arrangement (e.g., air ticket) and submit to KGI for record purpose.
4. Students are not allowed to work while holding a non-working-Pass in Singapore. These include working part-time jobs; freelance offers and/ or temporary jobs.
5. KGI reserves the right to terminate the enrolment of any student if he/ she misbehaves despite numerous warnings given by the school. Misbehavior may include poor attendance without valid reasons, truancy, fighting, stealing, etc.
6. Students must be properly attired when within KGI premises. Sleeveless T-shirts, singlets, shorts, attire printed with offensive or obscene wordings, revealing attire, mini-skirts, slippers, etc. are not permitted.
7. All students must display their student access cards when within KGI premises. Students who have lost their access cards will need to pay a replacement fee of $100.
